From Access to Completion: Scaling Higher Ed SUCCESS Programs in MA

By EdTrust in MA & Hildreth Institute

Overview

Join us to learn more about high-impact programs to improve community college persistence & completion rates across the state.

While Massachusetts has made significant strides in recent years to expand college access through generous financial aid programs, a pressing challenge remains: too many students begin their journey at public colleges and universities but never reach the finish line with a degree. The SUCCESS program (Supporting Urgent Community College Equity through Student Services) was designed to change that trajectory. However, it currently reaches only a fraction of eligible students.

The briefing, organized by EdTrust in Massachusetts & Hildreth Institute, will provide an opportunity to learn more about the measurable impact and long-term potential of the SUCCESS program in advancing community college completion across Massachusetts. The briefing will highlight new research on the current SUCCESS model, explore opportunities to further streamline and institutionalize the program, and feature a dynamic panel discussion with student and institutional voices.

We hope to see you there!
