Friends of the Harborwalk: What spurred the changes in the Wharf District?
Overview
What spurred change in Boston’s Wharf District? Discover what led to the transitions along the waterfront. New Year’s Eve day special--December 31, join us for a one-hour walking tour of Boston’s historic wharves led by Friends of the Harborwalk Liz Nelson Weaver. Meet at 1:00 PM at Harbor Islands Visitor Center on the Greenway before proceeding to Long, Central, India, and Rowes wharves to discover their rich history.
The Friends of the Boston Harborwalk is a volunteer group affiliated with Boston Harbor Now. The group meets monthly to promote awareness, public enjoyment and local stewardship of Boston’s 43-mile Harborwalk.
