Overview
Each week, Joni will guide a discussion on a mindfulness concept or reading, and then we practice together. Join anytime!
No experience is necessary. Join anytime. This class is designed to help you increase focus and decrease stress levels. Class begins with a brief chat, and participants, if they choose to, share either a gratitude or a challenge from their week. Joni then shares a mindfulness concept or a reading, often drawing on Eastern philosophy or Stoicism for wisdom. We discuss how we could apply that philosophy to move through challenging circumstances. Then in the second half of class we practice a technique or two together. Joni leads traditional mindfulness practices as well as breathing, visualization, and other meditation practices.
