Freshly Squeezed Comedy is the high-energy, wacky standup duo of Lefty Crumpet & Jesse The Shrink. They book, produce, and perform in their own shows throughout the state of Minnesota. Lefty brings his silly songs & Jesse brings his unique perspectives as a licensed therapist (yes he really is a shrink & yes, that probably means he's analyzing you).

Joining them will be national headliner Kris Shaw, a fan-favorite hailing from Las Vegas who can be heard regularly on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network on Sirius Radio & has entertained audiences around the globe. When he steps on stage, the experience is unlike anything you’ve come to expect from standup comedy. Headliner: Kris Shaw

Kris is a fan favorite who tours comedy clubs, colleges and events all across the United States and Canada. He has entertained troops in Iraq, Kuwait, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Dubai, Kyrgestan and Africa. Kris also appears in national television commercials and had a recurring extra role on the CBS drama Close To Home. Kris can be heard regularly on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network on Sirius Radio.

It may just be a live microphone in a small spotlight, but when Kris steps up to it, the experience is unlike anything you’ve come to expect from standup comedy. He’s a storyteller who, with quick bursts of wit and carefully crafted silences, keeps the audience engaged through everyday observations and tough topics alike. His slightly askew but lovable style disarms and charms from the first set-up to the final punch line. There isn’t so much as a hint of meanness in his spirit, and that good energy spills onto the stage and beyond. You will find yourself laughing out loud, delighted at how easily you relate to this uniquely funny guy.

Jesse The Shrink
What do you get when you mix a shrink & comedian? This guy! Jesse is a bona fide licensed therapist & standup comic who gives audiences a sneak peek into the inner-workings & often hilarious experiences of a mental health professional. Whether he’s talking about navigating virtual therapy sessions during an apocalypse or just trying to figure out what to tell drunk people he does for a living, one thing’s sure: after hearing his stories you’ll never see therapy (or your therapist) the same again! 

Jesse is the producer & host of a number of Twin Cities comedy shows including Jesse The Shrink’s Midlife Crisis Show, the St Paul Comedy All-Stars Show, Friday Night Comedy at Gambit Brewing, & Comedy Night at Station 10. He’s also co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy, creator of the Funniest Person in St Paul & Funniest Headliner contests, & runs a weekly comedy open mic at Gambit Brewing. 

Jesse won the 2024 Clear Water Comedy contest at The Plus in Eau Claire, WI, was a 2024 Funniest Person With A Day Job finalist at Mall of America's House of Comedy , & is a regular guest on the Tom Barnard Show.

Lefty Crumpet
Lefty is a 25-year-old, Minneapolis-based, ethnically-ambiguous, joke-slinging, musical funnyman with social anxiety from Riverside, California. He started doing standup comedy in college & immediately fell in love with the stage. His love of playing music led him to begin incorporating comedy songs into his standup performances. He lifts your hearts and minds with absurd and hilarious jokes and tunes, about various topics ranging from relationships to Doordash.
Lefty was a finalist in the Funniest Person With a Day Job contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy in Mall of America & is co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy. He also performed in the 2024 Loons on the Lake festival, and was featured on MyTalk 107.1: The Brittany and Kendall Show. You can find him bringing joy and confusion to crowds all over the Midwest.
