On November 8th, Buck Hill Event Center will transform into a comedy hotspot as two comedic forces join together for the very first time to bring you a one-night-only standup event! Freshly Squeezed Comedy and Joseph "Juice" Sutton, seemingly a match made in heaven, unite to create an unforgettable comedy experience for audiences who are ready to laugh, unwind, and enjoy an evening of top-tier entertainment.

Freshly Squeezed Comedy is the creation of standup comedians Lefty Crumpet and Jesse The Shrink, both staples of the Minnesota comedy scene. Founded in 2023 after the duo co-headlined a show in Mason City, Iowa, they built on a shared creative chemistry and passion for live performance. Since then, Freshly Squeezed Comedy has been producing and performing standup shows at venues throughout Minnesota. Their focus is on creating professional, well-run shows that feature some of the most talented and diverse comics from across the region. From breweries and bars to theaters and event spaces, Freshly Squeezed Comedy is committed to bringing quality standup to stages big and small.

"Juice" Sutton has been entertaining people since the day he was able to speak and enjoys bringing a home-style, energetic brand of comedy that integrates music performances with his jokes. He's known for leaving audiences encouraged, empowered, and most importantly laughing! He's also performed around the country and this year released his comedy special "I Got The J.U.I.C.E." on Amazon Prime.

Whether you’re a die-hard standup fan or just looking for a fun night out, this show will deliver something for everyone! Buck Hill, one of Minnesota’s most iconic destinations, is the perfect setting for this special event. Known primarily for its outdoor recreation and ski slopes, Buck Hill is also a fantastic venue for live entertainment. On November 8th it will play host to an energetic comedy crowd, ready to kick back and enjoy an evening full of laughter.

This collaboration between Freshly Squeezed Comedy and "Juice" Sutton represents the best of Minnesota’s independent comedy scene—grassroots production, local talent, and a commitment to creating quality entertainment. Both believe in the power of live comedy to bring people together, and this show at Buck Hill is designed to do exactly that!

Joseph "Juice" Sutton

Comedian and actor Joseph Sutton, aka "Juice", has been entertaining people since the day he was able to speak! In September 2025 he released his comedy special "I Got The Juice" on Amazon Prime and other streaming services. He's performed in comedy clubs, colleges, and conferences all across the country and has made appearances on TV shows ‘Meet The Browns’ and ‘House of Payne’. He's also made numerous apearances on CW, Fusetv, TBS, and has had starring roles in national commercials for Target, Best Buy, Boston Scientific and more. In addition Juice is the in-game host for the Minnesota Twins and Wild!

Juice brings a home-style, energetic, clean brand of comedy to the stage and enjoys flipping real life issues and problems into something people can laugh about. He also brings a different angle to comedy by integrating musical performances with his jokes. What makes his comedy stand out is with every performance, he loves to leave his audience with a positive message, aka "comedy with a purpose". His set is sure to leave you encouraged, empowered, and most importantly laughing!

Jesse The Shrink

What do you get when you mix a shrink & comedian? This guy! Jesse is a bona fide licensed therapist & standup comic who gives audiences a sneak peek into the inner-workings & often hilarious experiences of a mental health professional. Whether he’s talking about navigating virtual therapy sessions during an apocalypse or just trying to figure out what to tell drunk people he does for a living, one thing’s sure: after hearing his stories you’ll never see therapy (or your therapist) the same again! 

Jesse is the producer & host of a number of Twin Cities comedy shows including Jesse The Shrink’s Midlife Crisis Show, the St Paul Comedy All-Stars Show, Friday Night Comedy at Gambit Brewing, &  Comedy Night at Station 10. He’s also co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy, creator of the Funniest Person in St Paul & Funniest Headliner contests, & runs a weekly comedy open mic at Gambit Brewing. 

Jesse won the 2024 Clear Water Comedy contest at The Plus in Eau Claire, WI, was a 2024 Funniest Person With A Day Job finalist at House of Comedy in Mall of America, & is a regular guest on the Tom Barnard Show.

Lefty Crumpet

Lefty Crumpet is a Minnesota-based, ethnically-ambiguous, joke-slinging, musical funnyman with social anxiety from Riverside, California. This rising star was a finalist in the “Funniest Person With a Day Job” contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy in the Mall of America. 

Lefty’s journey in comedy began when his friends encouraged him to try an open mic in college. The lure of the stage was too strong to resist. He then joined the University of Minnesota’s student club for comedians. Armed with sharp wit and a guitar, he quickly incorporated music into his performances. This led to an invitation to appear on Mytalk Radio’s Brittany and Kendall Show. Due to the popularity of his “Hallelujah” parody, “Minnesota”, he became a recurring guest.
