In our Fresh Mozzarella Class, you will spend three hours learning about cheese, making cheese and eating cheese!
Begin your journey with a little dairy science, familiarizing yourself with the ins and outs of turning milk into cheese. We will provide a personal cheese tasting of our signature cheeses along with crackers and local accoutrements (gluten free/nut free options available).
Starting with our fresh pasteurized milk, you and a small group of 2-4 people will work together to make a batch of fresh mozzarella curd. Then, you learn the art of stretching fresh mozzarella, and transforming the mozzarella curd into a delicate layered ball of pasta filata cheese.
We'll also take a tour of our cheesemaking facility and process.
Best of all, you get to take your mozzarella home with expert tips about how to store and use it.
Face masks are available if needed. Frequent hand washing and sanitizing will also be required.
Each ticket is for one participant.

Important Class Information
- All attendees must purchase a ticket.
- Participants must be 18 or older.
- Ages 12–17 may attend if they purchase a ticket and are accompanied by an adult. (One child per adult.)
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Classes require a minimum number of participants to run.
- Refunds are not available.
- You may reschedule for free if you notify us at least one week in advance (e.g., by Thursday end of day for the following Thursday’s class).
- Cancellations made within one week of class can be rescheduled with a $15 fee.
- You are welcome to send someone in your place at no charge.
- If you cancel within 24 hours of class or do not show up without notifying us, you may reschedule at 50% of the ticket cost.
- If you’ve made every effort to find someone to take your place but cannot, please let us know—we may be able to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist.
