You are invited to register for the inaugural research symposium hosted by Chicago Public Schools' External Research Team. This interactive one-day event aims to bring together researchers, district staff and the broader Chicago research community to grapple with problems of practice in our field in order to create research that is useful and accessible to school communities.
Our goal for programming is to focus on levers of change that fall within the purview of the External Research Team. We aim to transform education research spaces by focusing on equity in process, partnerships and integration. For each of these key themes, we will bring together internal and external collaborators who have both the skill to bring rigorous research findings to the district and the curiosity to try new, innovative approaches to collaboration that can tie research to practice in actionable ways. Due to space limitations, this is an invite-only event.
