About this event
You're Warmly Invited to the Freedom Feed Potlucks on Second Saturdays in Downtown Middletown!
Come be our Church's guests for fun-filled monthly Freedom Feed Potluck events held on Second Saturdays from 6-8 PM from June through September in a rustic setting in Downtown Middletown focused on community, connection, music and healthy plant-based food!
Hosted by The Rainbow Church of Living Light, the Freedom Feed Potlucks are all about bringing together our Church's community to enjoy good company, music and vegan food.
Whether you're needing a good healthy meal, looking to try new plant-based dishes, or wanting to socialize with Church-connected friends and listen to music, this monthly social event is perfect for you!
Remember to mark the second Saturday from June to September from 6-8 PM on your calendars for the Freedom Feed Potlucks now! Specific dates are June 14th, July 12th, August 9th and September 13th.
To attend, please bring a homemade dish to serve 6-8 people made from only plant-based ingredients per attendee, along with a serving utensil and a plate, fork and cup. If you cannot afford to make a dish, please come anyway so that we can share with you.
The Freedom Feed Potlucks welcome only plant-based food suitable for ethical vegans, so we ask that no animal-derived food products be brought onto the premises or placed in any dishes. We also ask that all diners bring reusable eating and drinking utensils, such as a plate, fork and cup. Organic green tea bags and hot and cold spring water will be provided.
The current location for the Freedom Feed Potlucks is 21065 Bush St in downtown Middletown. Free parking is available on the nearby streets, as well as at the High School and in Tri-Counties Bank's parking lot.
The Freedom Feed Potluck events feature music, but they do not include an open mic. Talented local musicians, DJs and poets are invited to submit evidence of their artistry to the event organizers via email to rainbowchurchoflivinglight@gmail.com if they would like to showcase their talents at a future Freedom Feed Potluck event.
Children and well-behaved pets can attend with Church members and guests, but they must be supervised and kept under control and reasonably quiet at all times.
Participation in this free event is voluntary, and attendees assume personal responsibility for any risks. Keep in mind that rustic settings include uneven terrain, dirt, bugs and plants.
The Church has an exhibition food forest growing on site. You're welcome to look at the fruit and nut trees, but please do not pick from or damage them.
Please call or text Church staff at (707) 881-3573 if you have any questions. If you do not live nearby, please contact the Church if you would like to organize a similar Freedom Feed Potluck event in your locale.
