About this event

This workshop will give you a foundational understanding of yoga poses, concepts and skills to help you build a strong yoga practice.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • how to safely move through yoga postures, with modifications
  • how to listen to your body and breath
  • how to focus your mind to make this a moving meditation, breathing through the poses and learning how to flow

All are welcome. Bring a water bottle, yoga mat, and hand towel, or rent a mat from the front desk for $5 upon check-in.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive at least 10–15 minutes early to check in, settle in, and get your props ready before the workshop begins at 2:45 PM.

Do I need prior yoga experience?

No experience necessary. This session will walk you through yoga postures, breath awareness, and mental focus at a foundational level.

What should I bring?

Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and hand towel. If you don’t have a mat, you can rent one at the front desk for $5.

What’s included in the workshop?

Is there parking available?

Street parking is available near the studio. We recommend giving yourself extra time to find a spot.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move and stretch in—yoga attire or athletic wear is perfect.
