Celebrate National Reuse Day with STITCH AND DESTROY! We are hosting a FREE screening of REUSE! , a documentary that inspired STITCH AND DESTROY's beginnings as a business dedicated to reusing textile waste.

Reuse! follows Reuse Pro Alex Eaves' cross-country adventure to the 48 contiguous US states. He finds endless reuse solutions for our waste problem that are sustainable, easy, and fun. And he learns how reuse benefits people, planet, and wallet. Run time 1 hour.

There will be concessions available for purchase before the start of the movie. Come early to grab popcorn! Doors open at 6:30pm, movie starts at 7pm.

STITCH AND DESTROY is located in Philadelphia at 523 S 4th St. We are an upcycled alternative fashions studio and store- creating clothing from textile waste, selling local recycled wares, and hosting sewing workshops. This is a FREE event but you must get a ticket to secure your seat for the screening because of the limited capacity in our studio + storefront. Only 20 seats available!

Location and Accessibility:

STITCH AND DESTROY is located right off of South Street on 4th St in Philadelphia. Our address is 523 S 4th St. Philadelphia, PA 19147. There are 3 steps to enter the seating area for the film screening, making this not wheelchair accessible.

There is limited metered street parking on our block and in this area it can be difficult to find parking. We suggest taking public transportation- Bus 40, 57, 12, 47, 42 and 21 are nearby. The Market-Frankford Line 5th St stop is 7 blocks away. The Broad Street Line Lombard-South stop is 10 blocks away.
