Do I need a Scratch account?

No. Only if you want to save your work ONLINE. You can download the program on your computer and save it on your computer without an account or you can use the Scratch website link here https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/editor/?tutorial=getStarted without an account.

Do I need to do anything before the class?

You may want to download the Scratch application ahead of time if you don't plan to use the Scratch website link here https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/editor/?tutorial=getStarted.

No this is a FREE 30-minute class to help you get to know Scratch.

How old do I need to be for this class?

The people who designed Scratch suggest 8 years and above, but if you are younger, and it seems fun for you, then try it out!
