Overview
Afternoon Open Mic Poetry at Five Points Active Adults 18+
Hosted by Freshly Brewed Poems
Every First Wednesday Afternoon of the month from 3 to 4:30pm
Poets and writers gather to share original work in a casual un-amplified Open Mic forum. While we encourage original material. we may share with us your favorite authors, even song lyrics. Listeners and friends welcome.
Socialize and sign in to read at 2:30pm, reading starts at 3.
The size of the group will determine how many poems each participant will read, but be prepared for 1 to 3 poems each or 5 minutes of prose or spoken word.
Five Points Active Adults Center is for all adults 18+
Afternoon of Open Mic Poetry aims to be an intra-generational gathering of creatives working in a safe and mentoring environment. All ages are welcome.
Critiques will not happen during the meeting.
