The Fort Worth EnVision Center provides communities with a centralized hub for support in the areas of education, economic empowerment, character & leadership, and health & wellness.

Envision Centers leverage public/private resources for maximum community impact through inter-agency partnerships with non-profits, faith-based organizations, corporations, public housing authorities, housing finance agencies, as well as, state and local governments,

 

MissionTo empower Americans to lead self-sufficient lives.

 

VisionTo connect low-income households with a variety of resources and tools that offer pathways to economic opportunity and self-sufficiency.

 

Goals - Four Pillars of OpportunityEnVision Centers offer support and measure success based on four pillars of opportunity.

  1. Economic Empowerment
  2. Educational Advancement
  3. Health and Wellness
  4. Character and Leadership

 

The Economic Empowerment pillar is designed to improve the economic sustainability of individuals  by empowering them with opportunities to improve their economic outlook.

 

The Education pillar seeks to bring educational opportunities directly to individuals, through partnerships with public and private organizations .

 

The Health and Wellness pillar is designed to improve access to health outcomes by individuals and families.

 

The Character and Leadership pillar is designed to enable all individuals and families residing in HUD-assisted housing, especially young people, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens by encouraging participation in volunteer and mentoring opportunities.

EnVision Center ParticipationResidents are able to engage with Fort Worth EnVision Center services in three ways, through a physical EnVision Center, by downloading the EnVision Center Mobile App, and by visiting an organization that is a part of the EnVision Network.

 

The Fort Worth EnVision Center is sponsored by the City of Fort Worth and is co-located with the MLK Jr. Community Center at 5565 Truman Drive in Fort Worth, TX. The Fort Worth EnVision network also includes Fort Worth Housing Solutions, Fort Worth Independent School District, and HUD.
