Free Hernia Screening

Why get screened:

• Pain or discomfort in the groin or abdomen
• Bulge or swelling in the pubic area
• Burning or aching sensation at the hernia site
• Feeling of heaviness or weakness in the groin
• Severe pain, nausea, or vomiting

What to Expect:

• A brief hernia education overview will kick off your session, followed by the screening. Please note that attending the education session is mandatory for the screening.
• Complimentary hernia exam with a Northwest Healthcare licensed provider
• On-site scheduling for surgical consults if needed
• Opportunity to "test drive" the surgical robot used for hernia surgeries
• Light refreshments will be provided.

Event Details:

• Date: Wednesday, February 11th
• Time: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
• Location: Oro Valley Hospital (Registration in cafeteria, private screening area in classrooms)
• Age restriction: 18 years or older required for attendance.
