Immerse yourself in the magic of the woodland, where the leaf light glows, the birds sing and time slows down.
Forest Bathing involves slowly immersing or bathing in the woodland atmosphere (no swimsuits needed!). It is an invitation to move from your mind with its never-ending stream of thoughts into the present moment, the opportunity to simply 'be'.
We will go on a slow paced-walk through the healing woodland landscape, pausing to connect with the nature around us through sensory-based activities and mindfulness practices. This will culminate in the 'treelaxtion' at the end of the session, a time for deep-relaxation under the tree canopy.
Research indicates that forest bathing can have numerous health benefits including: reduction in blood pressure, lowers stress levels, improves energy levels and mood, boosts the immune system and improves the quality of sleep.
Come join me for a rejuvenating **Forest Bathing + session** at Paxton Pits Nature Reserve. The Forest Bathing sessions (within Paxton Pits Nature Reserve) will take place in Rory's Woods and a wooded peninsula that extends into a lake (an area we are given special access to for the forest bathing sessions). It is a quiet and peaceful part of the nature reserve, where the magical Nightingale sings in spring time and the calming waters of the lake provide a truly relaxing backdrop. All efforts will be made to welcome you, make you feel comfortable and provide opportunity for you to deeply relax. This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to unwind. Don't miss out on this chance to exhale, relax and connect with nature and yourself.
The session is free because I am currently training to become a Forest Bathing Guide with The Forest Bathing Institute and welcome your feedback in lieu of payment.
