Join us for an art-filled day at FREE admission Sunny Days, Starry Nights! Free first Thursday is a monthly program at our museum located 1 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

Sunny Days, Starry Nights is a monthly program offered by the NSU Art Museum to promote accessibility and unique opportunities for reflection, understanding and community unity through the arts, and encourage people of all backgrounds to come together to enjoy exhibitions, programs and performances free of charge! Enjoy complimentary admission into the museum on the First Thursday of the month, 11am-7pm. Visitors Receive:

  • 2-for-1 Wine in the Museum Café.
  • FREE admission, residents must show a photo ID, driver’s license, or residential utility bill with proof of Fort Lauderdale address.
  • Drop in Art Activity for all ages.

Free First Thursday is the perfect opportunity to meet, connect, and bond with your friends and family. With free public programming, store and café discounts, and outstanding exhibitions, the museum offers something for everyone.

The NSU Art Museum of Fort Lauderdale hopes to foster healthy community relations and establish an active, vibrant network of art enthusiasts, culture lovers, and critical thinkers through art exposure, open discussion, and community events. The museum features a diverse collection with rotating exhibitions emphasizing Afro-Caribbean, contemporary, and modern art. We are located downtown Fort Lauderdale at 1 East Los Olas Blvd. We aim to provide workshops for art activities, artist's talks, exhibition tours, and chances to socialize and network with the larger South Florida Community. Our group welcomes and connects teens, families, artists, collectors, creatives, and professional of all levels. Stay tuned for free workshops, museum admission days, tours, and programming.

We hope to connect and heal the community through our public programs, many of which are free and open to the public. Enjoy our Mini Muse workshop with free admission on our Sunny Days, Starry Nights program offered every first Thursday of the Month with extended gallery hours till 7pm. Join us in our Creative Explorations of themed art activities every second Saturday. There is tons to see and discover at the museum and we hope to see you soon!
