"Drop-In" 15-Minute Intro to Archery

Join Let's Go Outdoors at the Awbury Recreation Center for a quick and fun 15-minute introduction to the exciting world of archery! Whether you're a total beginner, have always wanted to try archery, or not taken part in an archery activity in a number of years this drop-in session is perfect for you.

Our Certified, via USA Archery and/or National Archery in the Schools Program, and experienced instructors will guide you through the basics and then allow you to shoot 6-10 arrows, depending on the number of participants.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to try your hand at this timeless sport in a relaxed and friendly environment. No equipment or experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and we'll take care of the rest!

REGISTRATION is required, even though this is drop-in. Walk-ups are not encouraged and are not guaranteed a slot to participate.

FUN/ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY: Those that register for this 5/18 session... Let's Go Outdoors is offering a family-friendly free guided trail/nature walk at Awbury Arboretum (across the street from the Recreation Center) after participants are finished with the "Drop-In" Archery session. You can decide the day-of, if you'd like to participate.
