FREE CHILDREN'S CONCERT "You've Got a Friend in Me"

FREE CHILDREN'S CONCERT performed by the Richardson Community Band on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 4 pm in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church of Richardson (FUMCR), 503 N Central Expy, Richardson, TX 75080.

Join us for ‘YOU'VE GOT A FREIND IN ME’ a joyous afternoon of songs from movie favorites such as: How to Train Your Dragon, Star Wars, Toy Story, Trolls, and more. This interactive and lively program will appeal to children, as well as those who are 'young at heart'. All ages are welcome. Vocal soloist, Kira Cary, will perform “You've Got a Friend in Me” and "Let it Go". Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Disney character costume. Children will be invited to participate in a costume parade and will also have an opportunity to provide assistance in conducting the band.

Tickets are free of charge. No reservations are required. Facility is wheelchair accessible. Free parking is available in the church parking lot. Enter the parking lot from the southbound service road of US 75 just south of Arapaho Road, or from Custer Road.
