About this event

At a time when LGBTQIA+ rights, especially those of transgender people, are under attack throughout the country, safe spaces are needed now more than ever. LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly youth, face disproportionately high rates of mental health challenges due to discrimination and lack of acceptance. Sugar Mouse and the QPA believe their new billiards class for queer teens will provide participants a place to be their authentic selves, connect with one another, and reduce feelings of isolation.

The QPA Teen Billiards Class will be held at 3:30 PM at Sugar Mouse, 47 3rd Ave in Manhattan’s East Village, on the third Saturday of every month. The class is open to all LGBTQIA+ teens between the ages of 13 and 19; the class is free and space is limited.
