Join TNC Virginia for a fun day of exploration and education at Fraser Preserve!

A bioblitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area within a given period of time. If you're new to species identification and want to learn more, we encourage you to attend! All skill levels are welcome.

We will be using the iNaturalist app for our documentation and identification. Create an iNaturalist account (click here to sign up), and download the app on your smartphone prior to the event. Be sure to follow Fraser's iNaturalist project to explore recent observations at the preserve.

-Location: Fraser Preserve, 239 Springvale Rd, Great Falls, VA 22066

-Bring: smartphone with the iNaturalist app, water, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, closed-toe shoes, and dress in layers for your temperature comfortability.

-Accessibility information can be found here. No bathroom facilities. No pets, service dogs welcome.
