Frankly My Dears is a woodwind quintet that was founded in 2020 by clarinetist and Winona musical institution, Dr. Frank Bures. He is joined by Heidi Bryant (flute), Kristi Krause (oboe), Pamela Lehmeier (bassoon), and Shawn Kennedy-Lee (French horn). They come together to explore the interesting variety of repertoire that has been scored for woodwind quintet.

Flutistry is an outgrowth of a flute choir class started by Mandy Moburg in the fall of 2011 in Winona. Their repertoire ranges from Baroque to Jazz. For this concert, the program will feature works by female composers. The membership has adjusted over the years, but the current group still includes three founding members: Janet Heukeshoven, Heidi Bryant & Arlene Boll. More recently, Lisa Ramsey and Amanda Wenzel have joined the group.

Winona Arts Center Covid-19 Protocol

To offer the safest environment we are requiring that all who enter the Center wear a mask, unless actively eating or drinking at an event and then at a safe distance from one another. Artists will not be required to wear a mask while rehearsing or on stage.

Further, we are requiring proof of complete vaccination for anyone attending films, concerts, exhibit openings or special events. All performers at the Center are required to be fully vaccinated as well.

If you are not fully vaccinated, but have proof of a negative Covid -19 test within 72 hours of the Center event, that will work too. Proof of vaccinations are not required for viewing exhibits in the gallery during our normal gallery hours, but masks will continue to be required until the CDC changes its guidance. Likewise, if you are using the print studio with others, masks will be required.

Our intent is to keep our members and the community as safe as possible during this time of uncertainty and the increasing spread of the Delta variant. We want to do as much as we can to avoid any further interruption in our programming. We appreciate your understanding and support.
