The evening begins with two solo performances: One on the Setar, a Persian pear-shaped lute, and another on the Tanbour, an ancient Kurdish instrument deeply connected to the spiritual traditions of the Yarsan in Kurdistan. This is followed by a Setar duo performance rooted in Persian classical music.
