About this event

Always free! Parents, expecting parents, babies, and children welcome! This is a stroller-friendly park.

Discussion and event hosted by a rotation of Close to the Heart's Maisie, You Matter's Maegan, Drink Deeply Lacation's Kayla, Lactation Company's Catherine, and Buttercup Bee's Geneva.

We ask that you sign up so we have a headcount and so you receive notifications in case of changes (if it happens, it's likely due to weather). Bring your questions and hear from other parents or just bring your bravery to enjoy a day outside.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to already have kids?

No, we welcome expecting parents - pregnant parents, adopting parents, support partners, experienced parents, new parents, you!

Is this a closed event?

No! You can join at any time and there will surely be others at the park. We like to have a head count so we can wait for you if you plan to come meet at the bathrooms, or head out as soon as everyone is there.

Are there any rules?

YES! There are two. 1) This is a non-professional event, without establishing a professional relationship and no medical advice will be given. 2) We ask you to be fully respectful and non-discriminatory to everyone regardless of if they are choosing to parent differently than you do/will.

Do I have to be on time?

...we are all parents too. We're never always on time. Meet us at the playground if you don't see a group at the bathrooms!

What does "discussion" mean?

We will talk parenting - the good, the bad, the ugly, the gross, the confusing. How we love it, what we struggle with. This is a support group so we want to have the topics be relevant to who is there - YOU let us know what you want to discuss (or just listen in!).
