The Winter Solstice on December 21 is a perfect time to reflect on the passing of the seasons and join together with community to celebrate the power of the everyday.

Four Walks to Water is a new experimental film by composer and photographer Aaron Siegel. This 45-minute video essay centers the power of the mundane to spark insight and revelation. Creator Aaron Siegel took the same walk from his apartment to the nearby bay over fifty times during the course of a single year. He filmed the change of seasons through the eyes of people, animals, trees, architecture and landscape of his local neighborhood in Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn. Siegel also scored the film, giving each seasonal walk its own elegaic soundscape.

The December 21, 2025 screening marks the first public presentation of the full film and will be accompanied by a Q & A with the creator following the film. Light seasonal refreshments will be served.
