Business owners and non-profit directors at all stages are invited to expand their networks by meeting other entrepreneurial members of their communities and the folks behind entrepreneur-support programs close to home! Founders Network events are intended to make space for local entrepreneurs and entrepreneur-minded individuals to meet, share, and cultivate ideas together.
Founders Network will welcome Joe Schauer (Director) and Stephen Faber (Board President) from the Portage County Literacy Council at our monthly meeting. The Portage County Literacy Council's mission is to help adults that live and/or work in Portage County develop the basic math and English literacy skills necessary to achieve economic self-sufficiency and community integration - we'll be hearing their founding story, and how they strive to provide literacy services for adults at every level!
This Founders Network session is scheduled at the CREATE Community Room at 1300 Maria Drive in Stevens Point on Wednesday, June 18, from 8-9:30 a.m., and is open to folks from any nearby community, free of charge.
