Course Description:
In this 2-week course, educators will explore practical strategies to foster rich, student-driven discourse across all content areas. Participants will learn how to structure classrooms where every student is encouraged to think critically, articulate their ideas, and engage in meaningful academic conversations.
Through a blend of live sessions, instructional videos, reflection exercises, and classroom-based planning tools, educators will deepen their capacity to facilitate student-centered learning environments. The course will highlight techniques for leading collaborative discussions, using intentional questioning, and designing activities that elevate student voice and thinking.
By the end of the course, participants will walk away with tools and strategies that enhance student engagement, strengthen comprehension, and build a classroom culture where dialogue drives learning.

Live Sessions will be held on July 2nd and July 9th. Participants can choose which session to attend on those days: 10am EST, 12pm EST or 5pm EST.
Response in forum discussions, Lesson Plans and ultimately a Unit Plan. The course will have a TA to support you and office hours.
