Foster & Adopt 101 Workshop -VIRTUAL

Welcome to the registration page for the Restore Network 's virtual Foster and Adopt 101 Workshops! We are so glad you are here and hope you will sign up to join us to learn more about the needs of the Illinois foster care system and how you can get involved!

What is a Foster & Adopt 101 Workshop: A no pressure opportunity to gather with other people to learn more about the Illinois foster care system and the needs of the vulnerable youth in your community. In the workshop, led by a Restore Network staff member who is also a foster/adoptive parent, you'll learn about the steps to become a foster parent but also be encouraged to "find your fit" as a support person if fostering isn't what God is asking you to step into right now. You'll be encouraged to prayerfully consider how you can use your time, talents, and resources to serve kids in foster care. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions and opportunities for extended individual conversations in the days and weeks following the workshop.

Who it's for: This workshop is for everyone, with an emphasis on those considering opening their homes to vulnerable youth in foster care. However, we all have a part to play in the solution so we encourage all of you to come lean in and learn more. The Restore Network currently operates in 17 southern Illinois counties but families from anywhere in Illinois are welcome to attend the workshop. Following the workshop, we can connect you with an organization that is local to you.

**Please note that this is an ONLINE workshop. Prior to the event you will recieve a separate email with a Zoom link for you to join as well as a virtual copy of the Foster & Adopt 101 Workbook.
