Pasadena Photography Arts presents
FORUM: Shooting Architecture
At the Intersection of Fine Art & Commerce
What does it take to make sense of the built environment?
Architecture has been central to the development of photography from its very beginning. Whether in the foreground or relegated to the background buildings have a great deal to do with the way we perceive the world around us in imagery. Martin Cox and Douglas Hill discuss their influences and how they have used architecture in their photography for the purpose of self-expression as well as a means to express the aims of architects and designers. Find out how the line between fine art and commerce can be blurred to serve both objectives.
