How I got my energy back during the holidays (and you can too)

Like a lot of neurodivergent people, I used to head into the holiday season braced. I’d tell myself, I just need to get through it.

But every year, I’d end up overextended, overstimulated, and wondering why I felt disconnected from myself, even when surrounded by people I loved.

The turning point came when I stopped trying to “manage” the season and instead started creating a sanctuary within it: a kind of inner fort I could return to whenever I felt overwhelmed or pulled in too many directions.

That shift changed everything.

It’s the same process I now use with clients: slowing down the internal chaos, identifying what actually feels safe and supportive, and building rituals and boundaries that protect your nervous system instead of fighting it.

And it’s what I’ll walk you through in Fortified.
