October at the refuge sees a mix of lingering shorebirds and waders to increasing numbers of waterfowl and birds of prey. Some songbirds including a variety of sparrows may be present in the woods and fields. Easy birding with minimal walking. Restrooms on site. Bring lunch. Led by Mike Mandracchia and Hank Burk.
