What measurable outcomes do you expect from the program?

We aim to measure increases in emotional awareness, reductions in interpersonal conflict, and improved peer relationships among participants. We’ll use pre- and post-event surveys, reflective writing, and feedback forms to track growth.

How will you track the impact of forgiveness on youth behavior or well-being?

Accepted Answer

Through storytelling, journaling exercises, and participant reflections, we’ll document changes in mindset and behavior. Partnering schools and caregivers will also provide observational feedback when possible.

What does the ticket funding cover specifically?

Accepted Answer

Funds from tickets will go toward workshop materials, guest speakers honorariums and healthy refreshments.

Will students receive school credit, certificates, or any recognition?

Accepted Answer

Yes, participants will receive certificates of completion and we are working with local schools to offer extra credit or community service hours as applicable.

Why is forgiveness such an important theme for youth today?

Accepted Answer

Youth today face peer pressure, trauma, and social conflict more than ever. Forgiveness is a powerful tool to release emotional burdens, create peace, and build stronger communities.

What inspired you to create Forgiveness for Freedom?

Accepted Answer

As a teen growing up with firsthand experience of emotional pain and bullying, I (Christopher) realized that forgiveness was key to my healing. I wanted to give other young people the tools I wish I had earlier.

What do you hope youth walk away with after attending?

Accepted Answer

We want them to feel lighter, more confident, and capable of resolving conflict in healthy ways. Most importantly, we want them to realize that forgiveness frees you more than it frees the person who hurt you.
