Forest Bathing: The Way of Stillness — A Year of Shinrin Yoku at Oakhenge
Overview
Step into the forest and remember your belonging.
Each season, we gather among the trees to breathe, listen, and let the land teach us the language of presence. Through mindful walking, gentle meditation, breath awareness, and sensory connection, we return to the stillness that lives in all things.
This is not a hike.
It is a slow, immersive experience of being with the living world — an invitation to release thought and open the body’s subtle senses to the wisdom of air, root, leaf, and light.
Together, we move through the turning year — from the first greening of spring to the deep dreaming of winter — in rhythm with Oakhenge’s seasonal calendar.
