About this event
During this Forest Bathing immersion, you will be invited to use your senses to explore the forest and nature surrounding you. This is a mindfulness, embodiment, nature connection practice. The immersion lasts approximately 2 hours. Unless there is severe weather conditions that are deemed unsafe, this event will still take place if it's cold, hot, raining or snowing. If by chance weather conditions are not safe, the organizer will send out an email about 3 hours before the event scheduled time.
We will meet at Penitentiary Glen Reservation Park (8668 Kirtland-Chardon Rd., Kirtland, OH 44094) close to the pond area behind the visitor's center. Please look for the signs "Forest Bathing by Wise Warriors Coaching" to help direct you.
Please wear clothing appropriate in alignment with the weather conditions (ie; rain, cold weather, wind gear). Please bring a water bottle and a blanket or mat to sit on, if the ground is wet, please bring a chair instead. Optional items to bring are a journal and camera if you are so inclined.

Forest Bathing is not a hike, nor is it bathing in water. It is an immersion in nature inviting you to use your five senses to encounter the natural world around you, which enables many health benefits. It is a reciprocity, in which you give as much as you receive in the forest/nature you are in.
Please bring/wear clothing appropriate and in alignment with the weather conditions (ie; rain, cold, wind), a water bottle and a blanket or mat to sit on, if the ground is wet, please bring chair instead. Optional items: journal, camera, sunscreen, insect repellent.
Yes, if the event organizer has to cancel the event due to inclement/dangerous weather, you will receive a refund or you may put it towards a future event. If you do choose to put it towards a future Forest Bathing event, please ensure you let the organizer know which event you'd like to use it for.
Those minors who are between the ages of 12-18 may attend the event with parental attendance. The parent will need to sign a waiver form for the minor child attending with the parent. They must also be registered for the event, along with the parent.
