Forest Bathing - Restore Yourself in Nature

Feeling overwhelmed? Burnt out from the hamster-wheel, like you are constantly doing-doing-doing? Try Forest Bathing! Forest Bathing is an invitation to just be. Spending time around and looking at trees has been shown to reduce blood pressure, as well as lower stress-related hormones. During this calming experience, we will practice simple techniques to help you co-regulate with nature. Find out how this pocket park can increase your physical and mental resilience by improving sleep, mood, concentration, energy levels, and more. Come refill your cup!

Forest Bathing is lead by Mileva Huljev, who holds a Guide certification through the Association for Nature & Forest Therapy (ANFT) and believes that this practice offers a pathway to remember how to immerse yourself in nature; to rest from the stressors of daily life. Also, Forest Bathing is more than just 'going for a walk'. It is an opportunity to slow down physically and mentally, through a series of guided invitations using your senses. These experiences increase individual wellbeing and lead to a deeper appreciation for our planet’s land and waterways.
