Forest Bathing in the Scrub

By Lyonia Environmental Center

Overview

Scrub

Has the stress of the holiday season got you feeling overwhelmed? Join LEC staff for a time of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), the Japanese practice of spending time in nature, connecting through all five senses. Spending time in nature away from technology can help improve mood, sleep quality and reduce stress. Participants should dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes and be prepared to walk on unpaved sugar sand trails. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
