Forest Therapy Walk at Welkinweir

Take a mindful break this summer and reconnect with the healing power of nature.

Join Certified Forest Therapy Guide Jennifer Lopez for a slow, gentle walk through the beautiful trails of Welkinweir Arboretum. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku (“forest bathing”), this guided experience invites you to slow down, engage your senses, and deepen your connection to the natural world.

We’ll move at a relaxed pace with frequent pauses, covering a short distance. Please note: trails may include some uneven or rough terrain, so sturdy footwear is recommended.

During this walk, you’ll be offered simple, nature-based invitations that support relaxation, presence, and restoration. We’ll close with tea and light refreshments, giving space to reflect and share if you wish.

No experience necessary—all fitness levels are welcome.
Perfect for anyone seeking calm, clarity, and a moment of peace.

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable shoes for walking
  • A water bottle
  • An open heart
