About this event

Hobbies • Other

Celebrate Birdability Week with a unique, inclusive nature experience that combines the healing power of Forest Bathing with the joy of inviting the birds in to help us deepen our connection with nature and ourselves. This slow-paced, sensory-rich walk is designed to be accessible, welcoming, and restorative. You do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience in birding, or even binoculars (though bring them if you have them), just a willingness to explore your connection with nature and a sense of curiosity.

Birdability Week

This special event is part of Birdability Week, a week dedicated to celebrating individuals with disabilities and other health concerns, while promoting accessibility, inclusivity, and a welcoming environment for all.

Please share any access needs that will allow you to participate fully in this event in advance with Barbaraseith@gmail.com. We will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Park in the Quail Run Lot at Avondale Farm Preserve
