About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Join us for an empowering information session on how incarcerated individuals can turn their lived experiences into certified leadership roles in recovery and reentry.

From the inside out:
This session introduces the nationally accredited Forensic/ReEntry Peer Recovery Support Specialist Training Program developed by PARfessionals, designed specifically for incarcerated learners. Participants will explore how individuals can become Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialists, the role of lived experience in professional recovery work, and the career and leadership pathways available after release.

Attendees will also learn how families, ministries, and advocates can sponsor students into the program, helping to build a bridge from incarceration to meaningful employment in mental health and community support.

Whether you’re walking alongside a loved one or equipping your organization with new reentry tools, this session offers proven strategies for turning experience into purpose.

This free information session is ideal for returning citizens, justice-involved individuals, family members, community leaders, advocates, and anyone interested in second chance employment, or reentry planning.
