Join us on Thursday, April 25, at Superica in the Heights, as we celebrate the launch of chef-restaurateur Ford Fry’s first cookbook, TEX-MEX: Traditions, Innovations and Comfort Foods from Both Sides of the Border. Tickets are $55 per person and include a signed copy of TEX-MEX, plus margaritas, puffy tostadas con queso and ceviche tostada.
About the Book: Tex-Mex is a style of food woven deeply into the cultural fabric of Texas: a rich combination of tasty, comforting ingredients like beef, cheese, and beans elevated by the robust use of peppers and spices. Packed with tried-and-true recipes from both sides of the border and bright, bold photography, Ford Fry’s Tex-Mex includes recipes for everything from the cuisine’s most iconic entrees to the tradition of wood-fired grilling to desserts and adult beverages in a celebration of this food’s collective Native American, Mexican, and Texan heritage.
