For "Bad" Writers Only: Micro-Memoir Workshop (VIRTUAL)
Overview

A place to turn your lived experience into a crafted micro-memoir—fast. This 2-day virtual workshop (1.5 hrs/day - Tuesdays OR Thursdays) pairs directly with the FTL Anthology Workbook (included) to help you find your voice and take ownership of your story; all while preparing for submission and publication in our Your Story. Your Voice. Anthology Project at no additional cost.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Genie Webb is an author, facilitator, and founder of Find the Light Books. After surviving a 2014 hit-and-run while 36 weeks pregnant, she rebuilt through story—and created FTL to help others transform challenge into triumph. Her “Your Story. Your Voice.” workshops and community anthologies support new and returning writers in shaping lived experience into publishable short stories and micro-memoirs, guided by FTL’s philosophy: Magic (your strengths), Love (community), and Light (resilience). Genie’s children’s books include Princess Lydi and the Baby Brother and Baby Daniel and the Bedtime Blues. She serves writers and community organizations nationwide.
