Start Your Own Food Truck Business!

"CCBC offers in-person courses in the state of Maryland."


Develop the culinary and business strategies to start a food truck

business in Maryland. Learn the pros and cons of operating a

food truck business, menu planning and food cost management,

marketing and branding, HACCP plan basics and licensing, and

permitting needs. You may become ServSafe® Manager certified

with successful completion of the in-class exam.

Program Course Sequence (In-person courses)

  • SBA 036 – Starting Your Own Food Truck Business
  • SBA 037 – Controlling Costs for Food Truck Operators
  • SBA 045 – Entrepreneurial Mindset with Coaching
  • HSL 016* – ServSafe Manager Certification

Total cost for all four courses: $776

*Financial aid may be available.*
