Hoe zorgen we dat de oogst van voedselbossen op steeds meer borden belandt?

De afgelopen tien jaar hebben alternatieve boeren en voedselactivisten, met veel geduld, voedselbossen aangelegd in heel Nederland. Nu barsten ze van leven én smaak. Het is tijd om door te pakken, lokale ketens te bouwen en deze regeneratieve ingrediënten naar meer mensen en plekken te brengen!

Op maandag 8 september nodigen we je uit voor een inspirerende middag waar voedselbosboeren, chefs, distributeurs en voedselpioniers elkaar ontmoeten.

Wat kun je verwachten?

Korte talks: Luister naar boeren, chefs en bedrijven die al op creatieve manieren gebruikmaken van voedselbosingrediënten. Leer over hun successen en uitdagingen, en krijg inzicht in hoe distributie en toegang tot deze bijzondere oogst vorm krijgt.

Proeven + netwerken: Ontmoet boeren, ontdek hun producten en proef wat er mogelijk is

Of je nu voedsel groeit, verwerkt of serveert, dit event is voor iedereen die samen wil bouwen aan een regeneratief en lokaal voedselsysteem!

Dit event is onderdeel van het project Food Forest Taste Test van Genomic Gastronomy, mogelijk gemaakt met steun van het Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie.

How can food forest ingredients reach more people and plates?

Over the past decade, alternative farmers and food activists have been quietly planting food forests across the Netherlands. Dutch food forests are beginning to offer an exciting range of biodiverse and flavorful ingredients. It’s time to build more local food chains and bring these regenerative ingredients to our plates!

Join us for an inspiring afternoon that connects food forest growers with chefs, distributors, and food innovators.

What to Expect:

  • Short Talks + Discussions: Hear from farmers, chefs, and businesses already using food forest ingredients in creative ways. Learn about the challenges and opportunities of distribution and access to these ingredients
  • Tasting + Networking: Meet growers, discover their products, and taste what’s possible

Whether you grow, process, or serve food, this event is for anyone who wants to build a regenerative and local food system!

This event is part of the ‘Food Forest Taste’ project by Genomic Gastronomy, made possible with the support of the Dutch Creative Industries Fund.

Who is this event for?

This event is for anyone interested in regenerative food systems — including food forest farmers, chefs, food distributors, product developers, and food lovers curious about local and biodiverse ingredients.

Do I need to register to attend?

Yes. There is limited capacity at the venue, so we suggest you sign up here via eventbrite to secure your spot!

Can I bring samples or products from my food forest?

Yes! If you're a grower and would like to share samples or showcase your ingredients during the tasting/networking session, please let us know in advance so we can plan space accordingly. Contact us via info@genomicgastronomy.com

Will the event be in Dutch or English?

We are asking people to indicate preferred language during sign up and we will adjust accordingly. We want this to be available to as many people as possible, so we are planning on offering translation if/when the main conversation is in Dutch.

Will food be served?

No. There will be small tastings available of produce, but if you are hungry you should bring your own food.
