The City of Fontana invites all local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) graduates to join us for a CERT Alumni Mixer and skills refresher. Whether you completed CERT training in Fontana or another city, if you live in or near Fontana, you are welcome to attend.
This event is a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow CERT graduates, meet new faces, and refresh essential emergency skills. Whether it’s been a few months or a few years since your last CERT activity, this is a great time to brush up on key skills and learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities.
Event Highlights:
- Lunch and light refreshments
- Informal mixer and networking
- Optional hands-on refresher stations such as fire suppression and cribbing
- Raffle prizes and updates on future training or volunteer opportunities
Schedule:
11:30 AM — Check-in and lunch
11:30 AM to 12:30 PM — Social mixer and networking
12:30 PM to 2:00 PM — Skills refresher stations
You are welcome to attend part or all of the event.
Who Can Attend:
- Anyone who has completed CERT training
- Must reside in or near the City of Fontana
What to Bring:
- Closed-toe shoes if you wish to participate in hands-on skills practice
- CERT gear if you have it (optional)
