Folklorico Fundamentals

Celebrate the vibrant culture and tradition of Mexican folkloric dance in this exciting Folklorico Dance class! Designed for dancers of all levels, this class introduces students to the beautiful and energetic movements of various regions of Mexico. You’ll learn traditional steps, footwork (zapateado), skirt work (faldeo), and choreography unique to the rich heritage of Folklorico, all while gaining an understanding of the cultural significance behind the dances. With lively music and colorful costumes, this class provides a fun and spirited way to connect with Mexican traditions and improve your dance skills. Whether you're new to Folklorico or have previous experience, this class offers an inspiring and festive environment for all!


Registration and Refund Policy:

Please provide an Eventbrite ticket on the first day of class as proof of enrollment. Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. A class may close when enrollment falls below seven (7) students at any time during the term. There are no refunds, credits, or extensions. There is a $10 fee to switch classes.
