About this event

Strephon’s work is a journey through Brixton, a landscape of a place, marking the remnants of human activity, but without featuring the people who have shaped it. He has delved into what has drawn him in. An interesting journey for the audience to see the findings of another person's curiosity. Visitors will be invited to consider where their own curiosity takes them. How does our own lens see Brixton?

The SHARP Gallery is a unique and innovative project, turning a drab meeting room into a popular gallery space at the SHARP building. Since being established in 2011 it has exhibited the work of over 120 artists, many of whom use mental health services. The gallery has transformed the physical environment and the experiences for staff and service users, as well as giving a platform for emerging artists to exhibit. The gallery has now moved to Blue Star House on Stockwell Road.
