About this event

  • Event lasts 1 day 3 hours

Join us for a dynamic, application-focused workshop on the use of functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) research.

Hosted by Boston University in collaboration with NIRx Medical Technologies, this event will bring together leading voices in the field, including Dr. Joy Hirsch, Dr. Hasan Ayaz, Dr. Anjana Bhat, Dr. Hendrik Santosa and others, to share current practices and emerging insights in ASD-fNIRS research.

In addition to expert presentations, the event will feature a poster session showcasing work from current fNIRS users and will offer valuable opportunities for networking and discussion. Designed to be hands-on and practical, this workshop will provide researchers with real-world tools, strategies, and techniques to improve the design and implementation of fNIRS in their own studies.

Whether you're new to fNIRS or looking to integrate it alongside other imaging modalities, this event is for you.

We welcome researchers across disciplines who are interested in leveraging fNIRS to advance meaningful, ecologically valid research in ASD.

Abstract submissions: For those interested in presenting a poster or talk at this workshop, please You can submit your abstract using the uese the following link to submit your abstract.

Please note that abstracts will be due on September 1st by 5 PM EDT.
