The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will hold a public listening session concerning commercial motor vehicles equipped with automated driving systems (ADS) at the University of Michigan on June 19, 2018 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM. The Agency hopes to solicit information on issues relating to the design, development, testing, and integration of ADS-equipped commercial motor vehicles. After introductory remarks from Administrator Martinez and the leaders of the ADS initiative, participants will be invited share their views on current regulations and other topics related to ADS-equipped CMVs in an open forum.
