Overview

A Valentine Flower Making Workshop

Join us on Valentine's Day to explore the Victorian obsession with romance as we learn about the language of flowers as well as the history of paper flowers. The making of paper flowers dates back to ancient China and is about as old as the making of paper itself. It was particularly popular as a hobby in the Victorian era.

After a little history, we'll learn how to make beautiful paper flowers that you can take home to your Valentine to celebrate the day. While we work we'll nibble a variety of chocolates and enjoy tea and other beverages. And don't worry, we'll finish early enough for you still enjoy an evening out with your sweetheart.

All materials are provided and you will take home most of the tools you need to continue making flowers on your own. Workshop is limited to eight (8) participants and the cost is $45 per person.
