Join Allie Smith of Bramble Baking Co. (https://www.instagram.com/bramblebakes/) to design your own florally-inspired cake featuring local edible and non-toxic blooms. Use demonstrated techniques (piping, color mixing with natural dyes, and more) to compose your own smooth or textured buttercream designs, and choose from a variety of pressed, dried, and fresh flowers, herbs, and other treats (like sprinkles and candies) to complete your design. This class will focus on winter flowers available locally in Maryland from our friends at Local Color Flowers! Take home a finished two-layer, 6" cake to admire (and enjoy!) as well as tools to continue practicing.
