Florida Forests Week: Drones and Forest Management

The Florida Forest Service is hosting a workshop where we will explore how drones are starting to play a role in forest management. Learn how these unmanned aircraft are revolutionizing how we manage and protect our forests. This event is geared towards private landowners who are interested in what drone technology has to offer. Whether its spraying herbicide, creating map imagery for your land, assessing your property damage from insect, disease, or storm impacts. Event consists of presentations in the morning and live drone demonstration in the afternoon. Morning session will be held at the Ebro Community Center and the drone demonstration will be at Pine Log State Forest. Lunch will be provided.
